turkey, baby girl showers and a CHRISTMAS parade

I think I actually crave blogging when I dont have time to do it. funny what you get used to in a short time. I used to write in a journal every night and sometimes I couldn't fall asleep unless I wrote or did "something" in it. It's awesome to go back and read what I thought was so important years ago. It was at the time I'm sure but damn, things change.

Lets see-Thanksgiving, we went to my Aunt Linda's and had a phat dinner. I could went back for thirds, she is a fantastic cook. I didnt get that gene. I dont think I have the patience to be a good cook. again, damn. maybe there is still time to be taught. Ya up for it Aunt Linda?!
I saw my cousin Cam who works so much that we rarely get to hang out with, that was cool. And I got to hang out with my other cousin Tim's future wife. Who I love and fits in good with all us freaks on the Page side. After dinner Thomas went home due to a wisdom tooth he had pulled the day before. ouch. And I took the boys to Aunt Judy's for some dessert. and entertainment for them at our expense. Tanner walks in that house and stands still for 30 seconds contemplating what he is going to get into first. And that child got into EVERYTHING that is breakable. He decapitated a poor wooden pilgrim by throwing it down the hall and as we are picking up that mess, he was standing on the chair at the dinner table stacking her CHINA one on top of another. I thought Jude was gonna have a heart attack. so we stayed for maybe a half hour and retired for the night. good turkey day though.
Then I went to a baby shower for my cousin Wade and Jizell. A GIRL baby shower. I love love love to buy baby girl clothes. So much more fun than boys stuff. I can say that since I have two boys. So if your having a girl and you invite me to your shower, expect only adorable clothes from me. You'll have to get the diaper genie from someone else.
The Berkley Christmas parade was Saturday. but maybe I shouldn't call it the CHRISTMAS parade. Maybe I should call it the Holiday parade that has that large man in a red suit in it. I wouldn't want to offend anyone by saying CHRISTMAS. (I'm a little bitter about the nativity scene) if you didn't catch on. anyhow- thats another blog. I think it was my favorite parade in a long time. Tristen had his buddy Jerry with him and to watch 2 six year old faces light up when Santa came down 12 mile was the coolest thing ever. I'm telling you, if I would have let them, they would of jumped on that float and escorted Santa to his chair personally. so cute. The parade started about 5:30 and got to us about 6ish~ with the tree lighting ceremony to follow. It started crazy snowing right before the parade, just in time to make it even more magical that it already was. A perfect CHRISTMAS parade.
