September 9, 2007 - Sunday
Good God I feel like the fast forward button is on this time of year. Lots to do - lots of plans- Vermont this week to meet my beautiful niece and Mr. Oliver Humble. hard to believe my brother has a baby girl who isn't a baby anymore and I haven't seen her blue eyes in person yet. I get a big lump in my throat thinkin about it. and Joshua, I forever miss him.Vermont is SO him and I love visiting but he isnt here with me so selfishly I wish he was back in the D. I dont even love it here but like I said I'm being selfish. Mom, Tanner and I are leavin on Friday and coming home Sunday. Not long enough for me but long enough with Tanner. I can only anticipate craziness with him so keep you fingers crossed for EVERYONE that we come in contact with. I'm gonna sing Patience by GNR the whole time. and Melissa told me to take drugs and a sucker- I dont know what Tanner will be doing as I pass out eating a blow pop.
Went to the Tigers game on Friday with everyone at work. Lots of laughs. The boss rents buses and shuttles everyone drunk ass down there and takes us back after the game. I find it amazing that we didnt leave anyone this year. I've been to more Tigers games this year than any other summer. But I have to admit that I watch the game on Friday for about 20 mins. and the rest is history. That smoking cage kills me, its like being an animal at the zoo. omg, its a crack up. and it's $13. bucks for a pizza - seriously the same fricken owner sells it on Jefferson for $5. dick. Little Caesars is a rip off. The beer garden was fun, and the Tigers won!
Soccer is back and Tristen for once is the tallest kid on the team- the kids on his team this year are 4 and up and because he's 5 and will be 6 in nov. he TOWERS over everyone. weird to think he was that little when he started.
Found the cutest cookie store in the world- Cookies by the crate on 14 mile in Clawson. I stopped by there to get a thank you basket for some friends that worked there asses off for me for a phat order at work and I stood in the middle of the store at awe, soooo cool. This chick that owns it- Debbie, took my business card and I came back the next day and she made a Terminal Supply cookie! she took our logo and painted it on a huge sugar cookie. I know I'm getting old when I start gettin stoked over a cookie, but whatever they are so unique and creative. love that.
Just planned a sales trip in FL in Dec.- Because December isnt busy enough. But hopefully I can see the fam- not a ton of time but long enough for dinner and drinks! PRI show is pretty cool- race teams. I wish I liked NASCAR. nah, I really dont. They are just good customers to have.
School supplies, packing, working, soccer, baby showers, Tiger games, nieces and plane rides, ohh my.
